Control Program
This is a message from the California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central
Valley (5).
The Central Valley Water Board has posted the Draft Staff Report for an Amendment to the Water Quality
Control Plans for the Sacramento River and San Joaquin River Basins and Tulare Lake Basin To Incorporate a
Central Valley-wide Salt and Nitrate Control Program. The Draft Staff Report and Proposed Amendment is
available for public review and comment on the following website:
https://www.waterboards.ca.gov/centralvallley/water issues/salinity/#dsr20l8
Copies of the Proposed Amendment and Draft Staff Report can also be obtained by contacting or visiting the
Central Valley Water Board's office at 11020 Sun Center Drive, #200, Rancho Cordova, California 95670-
6114, on weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m, Staff contact information: Glenn Meeks at (916) 464-

Please note that the comment period has been extended. The Board is inviting the public, stakeholders, and
representatives of other agencies to submit written comments on, the Proposed Amendment and Draft Staff

postal address by noon on Monday, Z_Mg�L201 8, in order for them to be included in the, administrative record.
