NOTICEOF PETITION FOR LONG-TERM CHANGE INVOLVING
THE TRANSFER OF UP TO 30,000 ACRE-FEET PER ANNUM OF WATER

UNDER LICENSE 11058 (APPLICATION 14127)

On June 29, 2018, Turlock Irrigation District (TID) filed with the State Water Resources Control
Board, Division of Water Rights, a petition for long-term change to water right License 11058
(A014127), pursuant to Water Code section 1735 et seq. With the petition, TID seeks
authorization to transfer up to 30,000 acre-feet of water annually to the Stanislaus Regional
Water Authority (SRWA)through July 28, 2065. This petition was filed to implement the 2015
Water Sales Agreement between TID and SRWA, and related SRWA's Surface Water Supply
Project. The proposed transfer would include the following changes to License 11058: (1) add
TID's Infiltration Gallery as a point of rediversion, and (2) add municipal and industrial purposes
of use within SRWA's member cities of Ceres and Turlock, which are within TID's existing place
of use boundary for irrigation.
Summary of License 11058 and changes proposed by the petition:

Point of Diversion: New Don Pedro Dam within NE'%of SW%of Section 3, R3S, R14E,
MDB&M
Point of Rediversion: Present: La Grange Dam within NW%4 of SW%of Section 16, T3S,
R14E, MDB&M
Proposed: Add TID's Infiltration Gallery within SE%of NEY4 of
Section 2, T4S, R10E, MDB&M
Season of Diversion: November 1 to July 31 of the succeeding year
Amount: 1,046,800 acre-feet per annum
Purpose of Use: Present: Irrigation and Recreation uses
Proposed: Add Municipal and Industrial uses
Place of Use: Recreational uses at New Don Pedro Reservoir and irrigation of
245,723 acres net within a gross area of 298,830 acres within the
boundaries of TID and Modesto Irrigation District.
