Re: Notice of Serving Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's (FERC) Service List with
Documents Pertaining to the Implementation of the Habitat Expansion Agreement for
FERC Hydroelectric Projects Nos. P-2100, P-2105, and P-2107, Feather River, California
Dear Ms. Bose:
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's National Marine Fisheries Service
(NMFS) recently filed two documents with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).
Accession No. 20100222-5144, February 22, 2010: "Response of NOAA 's National Marine
Fisheries Service to the November 2009 Draft Habitat Expansion Plan submitted by the
California Department of Water Resources and Pacific Gas and Electric Company," dated
February 1$, 2010.
Accession No. 20100602.5037, June 2, 2010: "Six-Month Time Extension for Completion of
a Final Habitat Expansion Plan under the Habitat Expansion Agreement for Central Valley
Spring-run Chinook Salmon and California Central Valley Steelhead," dated June 1, 2010.
These documents pertained to the implementation of the Habitat Expansion Agreement (HEA)
and development of the associated Habitat Expansion Plan for Central Valley Spring-Run
Chinook Salmon and California Central Valley Steelhead (HEP) for FERC Hydroelectric
Projects Nos. P-2100, P-2105, and P-2107 (Projects), Feather River, California. NMFS sent
these documents to the appropriate parties of the HEA via electronic and postal mail. However,
when NMFS filed these documents, NMFS did not serve these documents on all of the persons
on the FERC Service Lists for the three Projects listed above, and NMFS is deciding to send
these documents to all of the persons on the FERC Service Lists for the three Projects listed
above. Therefore, we are resending the above documents and serving the collective FERC
Service Lists for the above Projects. The Certificate of Service for the above HEA documents is
enclosed to this letter.

We look forward to productive actions and discussions between all parties during the HEA
process towards the development of a Final HEP that NMFS can approve. If-you have questions
regarding this response, please contact Mr. William Foster (916-930-3617) of my staff.
Sincerely,
J
