Not much has changed since the update this morning. I will be sure to keep you updated if I hear any new information. Here are the current details (subject to change of course): • Weather is still looking pretty consistent/no changes. • 16 counties impacted (Kern county was added this morning—as they are now anticipating a stronger event in the Southern CA region as well) o De-energization will happen in three phases—as the winds are predicted to pick up at different times in different regions o Winds are anticipated to pick up Wednesday afternoon around 5:00pm in our region/Butte. De- energization will likely start around 2:00pm on Wednesday for us. • Approximately 190,000 customer impacted statewide (down from 209K yesterday) • 8,335 Medical Baseline Customers (down from 9,000 yesterday) • Customer notifications have gone out—PG&E are monitoring the Medical Baseline customer responses and will send out personnel to houses for those individuals who did not respond (starting at 8:00am today/Tuesday) • Restoration Update: o PG&E is hoping to start to get all clear signs around 12:00pm Thursday o PG&E is optimistically trying to get all power restored in 12 daylight hours after lines are patrolled/inspected and cleared (by 7:00pm Friday unless there is damage in areas) Butte County specific info: • We are hearing our impacted customers are down to around 18,000 (from 23,000 customers yesterday), 1,339 Medical Baseline customers. The reduction appears to be in the Oroville and Thermalito areas. • Similar region (from previous PSPS events) in the eastern foothills of the County • We don't anticipate major impacts to County operations (specifically, operations on County Center Drive and Mira Loma are not slated to be impacted) • Three Customer Resource Centers are slated to be open (the two prior locations in Magalia—Lakeridge Court and Oroville—Bird Street School along with a new location on Martin Luther King Blvd. Costco in Chico). o Standard house of operation are 8:00am to 8:00pm—opening Thursday o We have asked that these open up Wednesday afternoon for Butte County—and are optimistic this will happen. Virtual EOC is in operation at this point. There continue to be 3 update calls with PG&E each day; 7:30am, 12:30pm and 5:30pm. I'll keep you posted on any changes after each of these updates. Please let me know if you have any questions.
