The Planning Division has received a project application as described below. This application is
being provided to you for review. This is your opportunity to make comments regarding the
completeness of this application, to be determined at the Inter -Departmental Review (IDR)
Committee meeting on 1/ 17/07, and/or to recommend conditions and/or mitigation measures relevant
to your agency's/department's area of expertise and jurisdiction.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A proposed 6,800 square foot, 6 bedroom home to be used as a
residential care facility for the elderly. There will be up 10 ten elderly residents with 1 to 2
staff at any given time. Facility to be licensed through community care licensing of California.
Application was originally submitted in as a minor use permit (MUP 06-04). It was determined
that a use permit was required.
The parcel is located on the northeast corner of Highway 70 and Pentz Road, north of Oroville.
