BUTTE COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING MINOR USE PERMIT MUP18-0010
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Butte County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider an application for Minor Use Permit MUP18-0010 for Josh Morrow, on October 24, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. or shortly thereafter in the Butte County Board of Supervisors’ Room, County Administration Center, 25 County Center Drive, Oroville, California as follows:
Project Information
Project: Minor Use Permit MUP18-0010 APN: 047-100-117
Location: 14822 Meridian Meadows Lane, 2,000 feet south from Will T Road, and 4 ½ miles northwest from the City of Chico.
Proposal: The applicant is requesting a Minor Use Permit to establish a Major Home Occupation, pursuant to Butte County Code section 24-162 (Home Occupations). The business includes light assembly of skateboards that are sold online or at off-site retail locations. The proposed business will occupy 380 square feet of a detached 6,400 square foot building accessory to the existing 1,548 square foot residence. The parcel encompasses 10 acres situated in the AG-20 (Agriculture – 20.0 acre
minimum parcel size) zone.
Butte County is recommending this project to be found categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under section 15301 of the CEQA Guidelines.
The above mentioned application is on file and available for public viewing at the Butte County
Department of Development Services, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, CA 95965, or online by entering the project number (MUP18-0010) at https://dspermits.buttecounty.net/Search/project.aspx. Comments may be submitted in writing at any time prior to the hearing or orally at the scheduled hearing listed above or as may be continued to a later date. If you challenge the above application in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Commission at, or prior
to the public hearing.
