Board Members,
The latest information from PG&E is that de-energization will take place at approximately 2:30 AM Wednesday
morning in all areas impacted last night, as well as areas north of Paradise and to the Tehama County line. The
mapping provided by PG&E is not very helpful, so we're having GIS download some files that should give us
more granular information. PG&E has been calling medical baseline customers, and County staff will call
additional SNAP list clients in the expanded area first thing in the morning to see if they need any assistance.
A message has been sent to all County employees letting them know to report to work as usual. Some County
facilities may be down in Oroville, including a few on County Campus, as well as some fire stations in the
foothills. Departments have plans if power is off in certain buildings tomorrow, and will reassign staff to other
facilities, if their function is critical, or have them work from home if possible. We'll know more around 6:00
tomorrow morning. If any facilities must be closed, we will get the word out through media, social media, our
website, and postings on the front doors.
PG&E anticipates they will begin re-reenergizing around 10 AM Wednesday morning, but it's possible outages
in some areas could last throughout the day.
PG&E will open their Community Resource Centers in Magalia and Oroville at 8AM tomorrow.
Unless there is a drastic change, this will be the last message for tonight.
Shari
