Dear Mr. Filpula,
In the normal course of my duties I review plans for California State Fire Marshal
regulated occupancies. I never saw the plans for your new foster home. Since the
occupancy requirements for an R-2. I -I (Foster Family Home --6 or less non-
ambulatory) are very different than one designated R-3 (Residential Dwelling) You
must resubmit your plans to the Butte County Development Services for plan
checking under the correct occupancy classification. If you have any questions
