California corporation, and WILLIAM S. TOWNE, Trustee of the Towne
Trust dated September 21, 1983, Grantors, as set forth in that
certain deed dated January 4, 1988, recorded February 5, 1988 as
Instrument No. 88-03935 and that certain deed dated January 4,
1988, recorded February 5, 1988 as Instrument No. 88-03928, both in
the Official Records of Butte County, California, and the fire
water protection system components therein.
(2) The fire water protection system components within the
Public Utility Easements as shown on the Map of Southgate Acres
Subdivision No. 2 recorded in. Book 80 of Maps at pages 34 and 35 in
the official Records of Butte County, California,

Dear Ted:
Pursuant to our telephone conversation last week we have reviewed our
records. Apparently this system has not been taken into CAS #90. We
have enclosed an invoice from PG&E for power to the fire system pumps
and a copy of an invoice from Durham Pump for maintenance to the system.
You mentioned that you thought fees were being collected from the property
owners and that these costs were being paid from this fund. Obiviously
this is not the case. Have you had an opportunity to talk to Paula Leisure
with LAFCO regarding this matter?
We would appreciate any help you can give us in getting this problem resolved.
