Also, we requested a change to the approved plans to> allow the installation of twoum s instead of one. Since we have'y'r'` s.,. P P �t .. not received a response as requested we have assumed that there are noith roblems w' p either of these items. I believe this accurately summarizes our progress to date on this project. Again, Baldwin must have some written assurances before they proceed with large expenditures. Please acknowledge, in writing, so that we may determine where we stand on this project. NorthStar ENGINEERING Civil Engineers •Planners •Surveyors March 15,1990 Bill Chef Director of Public Works County of Butte 7 County Center Drive Oroville, CA 95955 Re: Southgate Acres Subdivisions Acceptance of Street Dedication and Fire Water System Dear Bill: At our July 19, 1989, meeting you indicated that certain items had to be addressed before the streets and fire water system could be accepted for maintenance by the County. Since the meeting we have worked towards satisfying your concerns and providing the required information. The following is an update on our progress: In order for the County to maintain the fire water system it is necessary for Baldwin to provide easements to allow the],,,,..,,/ County to enter upon the private streets. Descriptions for these easements were prepared and have been checked by the County. Correctmoonswll1 be made and the easements will be executed. Per ,Y our discussion in July, Baldwin will no longer be responsible for maintenance once the easements are provided. The existing Countyr-e Service Area that was established for the fire water system will P `� then be the responsible entity. Baldwin has reached an agreement with an adjacent property owner to acquire an easement to facilitate vehicle maneuvering to and from the storm drain pumping station. The attached sketch shows the additional easement that can be acquired. This should provide � ample access to the pumping station and allow for turning.
