The position of the re-established comer was calculated using the original bearing and distance from the found rebar with the melted plastic cap, (bearing North 00°21'53"E, 45.78' from the re-established corner). Said corner was set by setting the instrument on the rebar 20' east of the NW comer, backsiting to the NE corner and turning and setting to the calculated position. The corner with record bearing of N89°58'00"W from that same found rebar was unable to be reset due to water meters being in the position. All other monuments were left as found.
