COUNTY CLERK-RECORDER/REGISTRAR OF VOTERS, UPON RETIREMENT FROM BUTTE COUNTY
WHEREAS, Myles L. Pustejovsky, Jr., Clerk -Recorder Division Manager, for the County Clerk-Recorder/Registrar of
Voters has announced his retirement from the county, effective December 28, 2019; and
WHEREAS, Myles began his career for the County of Butte as a Recordable Document Examiner I on August 1,
1994, and advanced to Recordable Document Examiner 11 on May 17, 1997. Then a title change to Deputy County Clerk -
Recorder 11 on June 12, 1999, advanced to Deputy Clerk -Recorder III on October 27, 2001, promoted to Supervisor, Clerk-
Recorder/Registrar of Voters on November 7, 2005, and on July 24, 20110, promoted to his current position as Clerk -
Recorder Division Manager; and
WHEREAS, Myles participated in the planning and administration of operations for the Clerk -Recorder's Division
andl supervised the daily activities by faithfully leading the team to accomplish the departments goals, provided excellent
technicall, management and administrative skills, and strong customer service; and
WHEREAS, Myles, as a leader and mentor to the staff, conducted staff training sessions, developed internal
recording procedures for electronic recording and gave presentations to other departments; and
WHEREAS, Myles worked to, get all recorded documents digitized for public viewing; and
WHEREAS, Myles assisted the Election Division with voter registration input when the department was undertime
constraints and continued to work election nights by managing a receiving center; and
WHEREAS, Myles worked diligently for over 25 years in the best interest of Butte County and its citizens, earning
the respect and confidence of his fellow employees, along with many county, state, and community partners; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby wish to express to Myles
L. Pustejovsky, Jr. sincere appreciation for his many years of dedication and service to Butte County, and further, wishes
him well on his retirement.
