WHEREAS, on September 26, 2019, President Donald J. Trump issued Executive Order 13888 which requires
formal consent from a local official for continued refugee resettlement in a specified jurisdiction;.
NOW,'THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby authorized to execute, on
behalf of the County of Butte, a political subdivision of the State of California, the Refugee Resettlement Letter of Consent,
attached hereto as Exhibit A, as per the terms of Presidential Executive Order 13888 and which is valid unless or until
withdrawn.
