HomeMy WebLinkAbout20-017WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors established the Butte County Master Fee Schedule by Resolution on March 24,2OO9and has amended the Fee Schedule over time; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the California Constitution and the laws of the State of California, the County ofButte inauthorized toadopt and implement fees for services, provided however, that such fees donot exceed the estimated reasonable cost of providing such service; and WHEREAS, the County strives toincrease and maintain clarity, consistency, and transparency mfthe fee process; and WHEREAS, the Clerk -Recorder's Office has, reviewed their fees for accuracy and identified new fees,removal of a fee, proposed fee amount changes, and general cleanup of fees in their fee schedule; and WHEREAS, the Clerk-Re,corder's Office requests to add two Clerk -Recorder fees for Building Homes & Jobs Tax and Digita�l Formatting Fee in their fee schedule; and WHEREAS, the Clerk -Recorder's Office requests to remove one fee for Wedding Photo Holder; and WHEREAS, the Clerk -Recorder's Office requests to change fee amounts for five fees in their fee schedule; and WHEREAS, the Clerk -Recorder's Office requests to apply changes for general cleanup by renumbering and clarifying fee language for 14 fees; and WHEREAS, apublic hearing was noticed ten days prior to the date of this Resolution to allow consideration of the proposed fee adjustments prior to adoption of this Resolution.
