Good Afternoon;
Please see attached my application for appointment to the Butte County Fair Board. I have previously contacted my
District Supervisor, Tami Ritter, in September to inquire about this position, as there are no representatives from my
district. She advised me that she had already appointed Stina Cooley. Ms. Cooley lives in District 2, not 3, and her
appointment expired in January 2019.
I would like it to be known that I am interested in representing my district, and according to the rules listed, a Supervisor
can only pull from outside of their district if they have no interest from within their district.
District 3 deserves to have fair representation on the Butte County Fair Board.

Butte County 4-H Volunteer for the last 12 years. Volunteer capacity includes project leader (both livestock
and non livestock projects), Community Club Leader(Shasta 4-H Club), Event Coordinator, County
Committees to enhance our county 4-H program, and more.

I have been participating in fairs at the local, county, and state levels since I was a child. Once my children
were old enough to become involved, they began participating as well. I believe that i bring a strong sense of
what the community would like to see at the County Fair. My expertise in Human Resources means that I am
always looking for the best possible outcome for all involved. I want to see continued success for the fair, for
the youth and for the community.
