RE: CMSP Governing Board Supervisor Position Vacancy
Group 2 Supervisors,
The term for the Supervisor representative position of C o urr ti;y lIMedii, gll„_ e,!r yii_c,e2„_IF.. o,,„Ilr .. (CMSP) Group 2 Counties ends
December 31, 2019 and an election must be conducted to fill the vacancy.
Group 2 Counties include: Butte, El Dorado, Humboldt, Imperial, Kings, Madera, Mendocino, Shasta, Sutter,Tehama,
Yolo, and Yuba.
In the coming weeks, Shaw Yoder Antwih Schmelzer& Lange will send out materials for the formal election, as we have
been given direction by the CMSP Board to commence the election.
1
At this point, CMSP is meeting approximately 6 times per year. However, there is a possibility that if health care changes
occur at the Federal or State level, there could be additional work and time commitments.Terms of Board membership
are for three calendar years commencing on January 1 and ending on December 31.
Currently, Supervisor Leonard Moty of Shasta County holds this position and is seeking re-election. If you are interested,
please let one of us know by November 1, 2020 and we will add your name to the ballot.
Please note, no two Board members from the same CMSP County may serve as members of the JBoard at the same
time. Therefore candidates from Kings, Mendocino, and Yolo counties may not currently seek election.
We look forward to hearing from you.
-Paul and Karen
