HomeMy WebLinkAbout20-046WHEREAS, on, January 29, 2019, the Board of Supervisors adopted Ordinance No. 4154 — An Ordinance of the Count of Butte — "Camp Fire Disaster Recover Ordinance", and Y Y I WHEREAS, Ordinance INo, 4154 is codified in Chapter 53 of the Butte County Code; and WHEREAS, Chapter 53, Article 11, requires all fire debris within the Camp Fire burn area to be removed through either the State's Government Fire Debris Removal Program (Government Program) or the County's Alternative Fire Debris Removal Program (Alternative Program); and WHEREAS, Section 53,-16(C) of the Butte County Code allows the Board of Supervisors to set a deadline for work to be completed under the Alternative Program; and WHEREAS, the Government Program has completed debris removal for the properties and the County has completed abatement of properties that did not enter either the Government Program or the Alternate Program; and WHEREAS, on November 19, 2019, the Butte County Board of Supervisors passed a resolution, establishing February 29, 2020, as the deadline for all work to be completed on properties in the Alternative Program; and WHEREAS, on February 25, 2020, the Butte County Board of Supervisors passed a resolution, establishing April 30, 2020, as the deadline for all work to be completed on properties in the Alternative Program; and WHEREAS, there are 116 properties currently performing work in the Alternative Program including 63 properties for which removal of debris is complete and a final reports is under review by Butte County Environmental Health; and WHEREAS, there are 2 properties for which a Work Plan was submitted, but not yet approved, and 3 properties for which an application for the Alternative Program, was received, but no Work Plan was received. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors that 1. Resolution 20-024 and all amendment are rescinded and replaced by this resolution; and 2.
