UNDER THE AMERICORPS DISASTER CASE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Corporation for National and Community Service ("CNCS") 'issued a Grant Funds Approval letter,
dated March 9, 2020 under the 2019 AmeriCorps Targeted Funding Opportunity for a total of $794,096 from the State of
California and $369,687 in federal funding from CHCS for implementation of the AmeriCorps Disaster Case Management
Program ("ADCMP") and $53,258 for planning of the ADCMP,; and
WHEREAS, the North Valley Community Foundation issued an Grant Approval form dated March 9, 2020 for
$7,742 for planning and issued a Grant Approval form dated April 2, 2020 for $1,276,459 for implementation of the
ADCMP; and
WHEREAS, Butte County ("Applicant"), was mentioned in the Grant Approval letters dated March 9, 2020 and
April 2, 2020.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Butte County Board of Supervisors does hereby determine and
declare as follows:
SECTION 1: That Applicant is hereby authorized and directed to apply for and accept the 2019 AmeriCorps Targeted
Funding Opportunity and North Valley Community Foundation Grant Awards, as detailed in the Grant Award letters and
forms, up to the, amount authorized on the Grant Award letters and forms and applicable state law.
SECTION 2: That Shelby Boston, Director of Butte County Employment and Social Services, or her designee, is hereby
authorized and directed to act on behalf of Butte County in connection with the 2019 AmeriCorps Targeted Funding
Opportunity and North Valley Community Foundation Grant awards, and to enter into, execute, and deliver any and all
documents required or deemed necessary or appropriate to be awarded for the AmeriCorps Disaster Case Management
Program, and all amendments thereto (collectively, the "AmeriCorps Disaster Case Management Program Grant
Allocation Award Documents").
SECTION 3-. The Applicant shall be subject to the terms and conditions that are specified in the 2019 AmeriCorps
Targeted Funding Opportunity and North Valley Community Foundation Grant Allocation Award Documents, and that
Applicant will use the 2019 AmeriCorps Targeted Funding Opportunity and North Valley Community Foundation Grant
award funds in accordance with the Allocation Acceptance forms, other applicable rules and laws, the ADCMP
Documents, and any and all ADCMP requirements.
