BUTTE COUNTY ZONING ADMINISTRATOR NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR GRADING PERMIT GRD19-0002
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Butte County Zoning Administrator will hold a public hearing to consider an application for a Grading Permit GRD19-0002 for Allen Gross on March 25, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. or shortly thereafter, at the Butte County Development Services Department Training Room, located at 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California.
Project Information: Project: Grading Permit GRD19-0002 APN: 041-030-053
Location: The project site is located on the east side of Pentz Road, approximately 650 feet south from the intersection of Messilla Valley Road and Pentz Road.
Proposal: Grading Permit to create a 12,775 square foot flat pad area to stage and utilize a recreational vehicle and horse trailer for personal use. Grading activities would result in 288 cubic yards (cy) of
excavated soil and 222 cy of fill, for a total of 510 cy of grading.
Butte County is recommending this project to be found categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15304 (Class 4 – Minor Alterations to Land) of the CEQA Guidelines. In compliance with the requirements of CEQA, this notice discloses that there are no listed toxic sites present on or near the project site.
The above mentioned application is on file and available for public viewing at the Butte County Department of Development Services, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, CA 95965, or online by entering the project number (GRD19-0002) at https://dspermits.buttecounty.net/Search/project.aspx. Comments regarding the application may be submitted in writing at any time prior to the hearing or orally at the scheduled hearing listed above or as may be continued to a later date. If you challenge
the above application in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered to the Zoning Administrator at, or prior to the public hearing.
