HomeMy WebLinkAboutRFI20-0206 Project Narrative and Site PlanProject Narrative: We, Nick and Katrina DeCarlo intend to use our home and property at 4520 Nord Highway (Parcel Number 006660023000) for our Yard Maintenance company Mow Bros USA. We provide reoccurring yard maintenance to residences and commercial properties in Butte and surrounding counties. We do not have any customers come onsite to our property. We use the land and buildings for storage of our equipment and vehicles. Our standard hours of operation are Monday- Saturday 8am to 5 PM. We have approximately 12 employees currently including part time workers but range from 10-20 employees total including part time. We do not intend to exceed 20 employees including part time. We currently have the equivalent of 6 full time staff. We estimate we will have 15 full time equivalent staff in the future (including office staff). We currently have one part time office staff who works primarily in one bedroom of the house. She is working onsite for 4-5 hours Monday – Friday. In the future we may have as many as 2 full time office staff onsite. We currently park 5 work trucks onsite. The dimensions of our physical buildings are as follows: 2700 Sq Ft Home 1440 Sq Ft Barn 1728 Sq Ft Shop 625 Sq Ft Shop We have approximately 250 offsite customers that are not allowed at our facility. If we must meet with our customers for planning or discussion purposed we do so at their property. We use the land and shop to store trucks and equipment. Trucks are picked up in the morning between 8 and 9 am and the employee’s personal vehicle is left onsite. Trucks are returned when work is completed between 3pm and 5pm. Equipment is stored in the Shop and the Barn. Vehicles are stored in the field north east of the shop. The Property is 637 x 158 approximately 2.41 acres. Work vehicles use the side access gate off of Orchard Blossom so that they will not obstruct highway traffic. We are the first house on Orchard Blossom so the workers accessing the property though the side access should not kick up any additional dust or cause any undue traffic for neighbor on Orchard Blossom. We do not have any plans to build any additional structures for use of the business.
