Response: A. General: • See comments below B. Erosion and Sediment Control plan: • An erosion and Sediment Control is part of the plan set. BMP’s are shown on the plan. • The total disturbed area is less than an acre. Therefor a CGP coverage is not needed. C. Established Vegetation: • C.1.i - Existing access roads will be used to and from the area where sediment will be removed. The drawing has been modified to show gaps in vegetation line where vehicles will cross. • C.2.I - It is not anticipated that vegetation removal will be needed to obtain access to the sediment removal area. • C.3.I – The plan has been modified to show the gap in vegetation where the access road goes. D. Grading Practices and Setbacks: • D.1 – Ok • D.2 - Slopes shown on plan. E. Control of Runoff: • The project does not anticipate to make changes the flow outside of the channel. F. Slope Construction: • F2 - The plans calls out that the existing slopes should be maintained • F2-I - Cross sections of removal area have been added on sheet 3. • F2-ii – Additional contour elevation have been added G. Revegetation and Slope Surface Stabilization”: • G.1.i – Gravel will remain in the bottom of the channel when dredge material has been removed • G.2 – The same operation that has historically been conducted will continue. • G.3 – The owner at the location where material will be taken will be processing the material and stabilization will follow their standard operation procedures.
