Update on Temporary Housing Space for 2018 Camp Fire Victims
Dear Secretary Bose:
This letter is to provide a courtesy notification to the Federal Energy Regulatory
Commission (FERC) in follow up to March 27, 2019 and October 1, 2019 filings regarding
temporary housing space for 2018 Camp Fire victims in the DeSabla Day Use Area (DUA),
a part of Pacific Gas and Electric Company's (PG&E) DeSabla-Centerville Project, FERC
No. 803.
On March 16, 2019, PG&E granted permission and entered into a license agreement to
provide Butte County use of the DeSabla DUA for 12-15 RV trailers through September
30, 2019. On October 1, 2019 PG&E extended the agreement to October 31, 2019. As of
October 31, 2019, Butte County is no longer utilizing the day use area and it has been
returned to PG&E in good condition.
