Clearing of Road Drainage Systemson Lone Tree Road

ButteCounty Public Works willreplace worn culverts and clear roadside ditches on Lone
Tree Road onJanuary 2and 3,2020.This work will affect multiple sections of Lone
Tree Road, from Cox Lane to Central House Road.
Motorists that travel thisroadways should expect full roadway closureson Lone Tree Road.
Work will begin at 7:00 a.m.each day, and should be concluded by 4:00 pm. Due to the
narrow width of the roadway, Lone Tree Road will be closed to all traffic including
emergency personneland vehicles at the work location(s). Motorists are encouraged to use
the detour provided, Highway 70, between Cox Lane and Central House Road. .
The Butte County Public Works Department has been serving its residents since 1850,
providing cost effective roadway maintenance services. The Department maintains
approximately 1,300 miles of roadways, over 500 bridges and drainage structures and more
than 18,000 road signs.
