Now that evacuation orders have been lifted, owners returning to the area are asked to assume feeding and care of their animals. A detailed feed and care schedule of animals sheltering in place will be provided to owners once they are able to return home. BCAC and NVADG will continue to provide feed until Saturday, December 22nd at designated feed drop-off locations in the fire affected area. Additionally, animal owners will be able to come to the feed donation center in Oroville for animal supplies while they last. Animal Feed Donation Center 109 Table Mountain Blvd. in Oroville Open daily from 9 am to 4 pm, while supplies last Enter parking lot from Table Mountain Blvd., please do not park in the Tabletop Restaurant lot. Please note: this location is not accepting further donations. If evacuees decide not to stay in their homes or intend to leave the area they will need to take their animals with them. The temporary emergency animal shelters are targeted to close on January 4, 2019 and will not accept new animals for sheltering. If residents have a need for animal control assistance, they should call their local animal control authority. Local animal control agencies can assist residents with animal fostering and adoptions resources and reporting stray animals.
