Re:
Amendment: DR-4407-CA
Dear Mr. Samaniego:
Th
regarding the Butte County and Town of osed amendment related
to DR-4407-CA.
As encouraged in your letter, Cal OES will continue to work closely with the Town of Paradise,
Butte County, and your office to make recommendations on the revision of the ordinances to
address public health and safety. Debris cleanup will commence the week of
January 28, 2019, and the respective entities will concurrently work on the revisions of the
ordinances and approval the same. To that end, while Cal OES works with the Town of Paradise
and Butte County to remedy the concerns identified in your letter, Cal OES seeks continued
support from you, the Federal Coordinating Officer, for the aforementioned actions and an
acknowledgement that these actions will not compromise eligibility and funding for the Private
Property Debris Removal Program.
Sincerely,
ERIC LAMOUREX
Acting Deputy Director, Response & Recovery Operations
