The Butte County Board of Supervisors is hereby giving notice of a vacancy on the Butte County Library
Advisory Board, District 3 Member. The Board of Supervisors may consider making an appointment
to fill this vacancy on or after February 12, 2020. The term of this appointment ends January 9, 2023.
The Library Advisory Board (LAB) was created for the following purposes:

ng range library financial plan;
f the Library for the past year;
e Board of Supervisors approval;
of the Butte County Libraries, as authorized on May 15, 2002 by the Board of Directors of the
Butte County Library Foundation and prior to the closure of the Foundation;

of Supervisors;

The LAB is composed of 10 voting members, appointed by the Board of Supervisors. Each member of
the Board of Supervisors shall appoint two members to the LAB, with each member residing within
supervisorial district of the appointing Supervisor. Additionally, the County Librarian shall serve as a non-
voting member on the LAB.
Persons interested in being considered for this appointment must submit either an application or a letter
of interest and resume to the Clerk of the Board via email at clerkoftheboard@buttecounty.net or by
regular mail to 25 County Center Drive, Oroville, CA 95965. Applications can be found on the Clerk of
