To whom it may concern,
Upon review of your site plan for your permit B20-2072, the setbacks for your proposed residence do not
meet the setback requirements set forth for properties residing within the State Responsibility Area (SRA).
The 2020 California Board of Forestry and Fire Protection SRA Fire Safe Regulations state the following:
1276.01 Setback for Structure Defensible Space
Setback for Structure Defensible Space: All parcels shall provide a minimum 30 foot setback for all
buildings and accessory buildings from all property lines and/or the center of the road.
Please re-submit an updated site plan with acceptable setbacks, OR complete an exception request
detailing mitigations that will have the same practical effect. If you have questions regarding how to
submit an exception request, you can contact me at any time.
