Good morning Board Members –
Butte County is officially included in the disaster declaration for SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loans.
The fact sheet included with the declaration details does not list Butte County, but the declaration
has been made for Butte. We are hearing from businesses they are having trouble filing applications
because we are not in the system yet. This should be resolved, but we are working with SBA on this
through our partners.
We recommend all businesses work directly with the Butte College Small Business Development
Center to complete applications. Visit the SBDC online or call (530) 895-9017.
Applying Directly with SBA
Applicants may apply online, receive additional disaster assistance information and download
applications at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela. Applicants may also call SBA’s Customer Service
Center at (800) 659-2955 or email mailto:disastercustomerservice@sba.gov for more information on
SBA disaster assistance.
Additionally, the following websites are State resources for businesses and employees:
