Good afternoon Board Members.
We are holding off on the weekly Camp Fire recovery email update this week. Many County staff
who assemble the information are working in response to COVID-19 or are working to transitions
functions to work remotely.
I will work with each of the Departments that provide data for the update to see how we can
continue to provide this update going forward.
Tree Removal
The County continues to collect ROEs for the Government Tree Removal Program and forms for
those removing trees themselves in compliance with the Private Tree Removal Program. All forms
can be submitted by mail or email, but forms are not being collected in person.
The State has two staff members in Butte County continuing to support the tree mission. All other
staff have been moved back to the their original offices or are working from home. The State
continues to move the tree mission forward, but it heavily impacted by the COVID-19 response.
CDBG-DR Action Plan
The State has decided to hold a public meeting regarding the CDBG-DR Action Plan. It will be held as
a webinar. See announcement attached. I will work with Miranda to announce this information.
