The information is also updated on the Public Health website. COVID-19 Total COVID-19 Cases: 8 Total COVID-19 Deaths: 0 The DOC is now reporting total positive cases and total deaths for COVID-19 in accordance with guidance from the State for reporting COVID-19 statistics. The previous categories are less meaningful now given the increase in transmission of COVID-19 within communities. Butte County Public Health is still performing containment activities for COVID-19. The previous categories are less meaningful now given the increase in transmission of COVID-19 within communities. Butte County Public Health is still performing containment activities for COVID-19. The DOC requested ventilators from the State, but it is unclear if these will be received given the widespread demand. EOC Care/Shelter The Butte County Covid-19 Response Task Force launched today. This Task Force will be assisting the most vulnerable community members with delivery of vital medications and food. If you are speaking with someone who fits the criteria below please have them contact 2-1-1 or the County COVID-19 Call Center at 530.552.3050. Once they are screened they will be referred to the Task Force directly. Criteria to receive Task Force Assistance: They have a Confirmed Case of COVID-19 They have been tested but are awaiting results They have been told by a Doctor or Public Health Department Staff to self-isolate due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Individuals will be screened and once it is determined they have no OTHER resources available, the Task Force will assist in retrieving food and medications. These items will be delivered to their home. This service will be available Monday-Saturday 8-5pm. EOC COOP Departments continue to adjusting operations. Check www.ButteCounty.net for an updated list for the public. EOC Liaison The CARES Act funded SBA for Paycheck Protection Program loan guarantees. This means the SBA guarantees small-business loans through local lenders. A business interested in a loan should contact its banking institution directly. Guidance from the federal government to lenders is not expected until this Friday. The SBA COVID-19 Small Business Guidance & Loan Resources are available online. Thanks.
