Supplies being received are limited given the widespread demand for medical supplies. The weekly press conference for tomorrow, April 2, is cancelled Future press conferences will be as needed to provide information. Starting Thursday, April 2, in coordination with the Sheriff’s Office, a Code Red message will be sent weekly reminding people of the State’s order to Stay at Home. Reminder: All community sectors are asked to review and implement COVID-19 illness prevention guidance. o Guidance from the CDC o Guidance from the California Department of Public Health County Emergency Operation Center Care/Shelter Branch The Butte County Covid-19 Response Task Force launched Monday. This Task Force assists the most vulnerable community members with delivery of vital medications and food. If you are speaking with someone who fits the criteria below please have them contact 2- 1-1 or the County COVID-19 Call Center at 530.552.3050. Once they are screened they will be referred to the Task Force directly. Criteria to receive Task Force Assistance: They have a Confirmed Case of COVID-19 They have been tested but are awaiting results They have been told by a Doctor or Public Health Department Staff to self-isolate due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Individuals will be screened and once it is determined they have no OTHER resources available, the Task Force will assist in retrieving food and medications. These items will be delivered to their home. This service will be available Monday-Saturday 8-5pm.
