3. Project will require compliance with California Senate Bill 407 for the installation of
water-conserving fixtures.

SITE NOTES:
1.) Gate entrances shall be at least two feet wider than the width of the traffic lane and at least 30 feet from the roadway and shall open to allow a
vehicle to stop with out obstructing traffic on that road.
2.) Size of letters, numbers and symbols for addresses shall be a minimum 3 inch letter
height, 3/8 inch stroke, reflectorized, contrasting with the background color of the sign
Installation, Location and Visibility of Addresses. All buildings shall have a permanently posted address, which shall be placed at each driveway
entrance and visible from both directions of travel along the road. In all cases, the address shall be posted at the beginning of construction and
shall be maintained thereafter.
3.) When Fire Sprinklers are required, three (3) sets of sprinkler plans with flow calculations shall be submitted to Butte County Fire Department for
review prior to the start of construction. Sprinkler plans and calculations shall be done by a Licensed C-16 contractor.
4. An automatic fire sprinkler system shall be installed in accordance with Section R313
of the 2016 C.R.C. (By Others). (The automatic sprinkler system is to be designed under
a separate permit.)
5. A minimum 65 percent of the non-hazardous construction and demolition waste shall
be recycled and/or salvaged for reuse in accordance with the California Green Building
Standards Code, Chapter 4, Division 4.4 [CRC R334.1].

MINIMUM EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROLS
FOR PROJECTS DISTURBING LESS THAN ONE ACRE
The BMP's (Best Management Practices) listed below must be in place during time of construction.
The BMP's listed are minimum requirements and additional BMP's could be required based
Stabilized entry: Provide minimum 3" to 6" fractured rock 50' long x 15' wide by 6" deep over
construction grade fabric.
All soils tracked onto paved roadways must be cleaned up on a daily basis. When streets
are wet or during a rain event there shall be no tracking of soils onto the street.
Wattles installed properly behind curb or sidewalks.
Rock bags (minimum 2 per side) at all drain inlet locations within 150' of the project site.
Internal filters placed inside each drain inlet.
Trash bars across the back of all drain inlets.
Stabilize all disturbed soils in the front yard areas within 15' of the back of curb or sidewalk.
(Straw or erosion blankets may be used for this application).
Stabilize all slopes where erosion could occur and cause silt run off. (Straw, visqueen or
erosion blankets may be used for this application).
All paint, fuel, construction products etc. shall be stored in a covered location away from
sidewalks and storm drain inlets.
Portable chemical toilets if provided on the site must be kept off of streets and sidewalks and
at least 50' from the nearest storm drain inlet.
All trash must be collected and stored properly. Do not let items such as drywall mud boxes,
paint buckets, cleaning material containers etc. come in contact with any rainfall or storm water runoff.
Provide a designated area for concrete washout. Hay bales lined with visqueen may be used for
this application. Rollaway bins may also be used. All concrete washout systems shall be placed
off of the paved streets.
STORM WATER DRAINAGE AND RETENTION DURING CONSTRUCTION AND SURFACE DRAINAGE
PLAN TO BE SITE/LOT SPECIFIC. A PLAN SHALL BE SUBMITTED WITH EACH PERMIT APPLICATION
AND REVIEW PRIOR TO ISSUANCE. REFER TO 2016 CGBSC SECTIONS 4.106 SITE DEVELOPMENT.

1)THIS PROJECT IS LOCATED IN A WILDLAND-URBAN INTERFACE FIRE AREA AS DEFINED IN
SECTION 702A AND SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL THE SECTIONS OF THIS CHAPTER.
2) FIRE SPRINKLERS TO BE INSTALLED IN THE PROPOSED STRUCTURE BEING BUILT. FIRE
SPRINKLERS TO BE REVIEWED AND APPROVED UNDER A SEPARATE PERMIT. (BY OTHERS)
3) ALL VENTS MUST BE APPROVED BY LOCAL OR STATE FIRE MARSHAL.
4) Exterior glazing in accordance with CRC R337.8.2.1. One pane of
window shall also be tempered. Revise floor plan as necessary to indicate this
requirement.
5) Fire resistive exterior doors in accordance. The door exterior surface shall
be of noncombustible or ignition-resistant materials or be constructed of solid
core wood 1-3/8” thick or have a fire-resistive rating of not less than 20-minutes.
[CRC R337.8.3].
6) Ignition resistant or non-combustible eaves and soffits. Open Roof Eaves
require noncombustible or ignition-resistant materials. Provide manufacturer’s
documentation. [CRC R337.7.5].
7) Attic vents and foundation vents shall be fully covered with
metal wire mesh or noncombustible materials with minimum of 1/16” and shall
not exceed 1/8” openings.
8) Roof Gutters shall be provided with means to prevent the
accumulation of leaves and debris in the gutter. [CRC R337.5.4].
9)Approved eave vents that resist the intrusion of flame and burning
embers. [CRC R337.6.3 Exception #1].
