Good morning –
The State Department of Housing and Community Development worked with HUD on an extension
for submission of the 2018 CDBG-DR Action Plan due to the response to COVID-19.
HUD approved a 90-day extension, which makes the Action Plan due on September 3, 2020 instead
of in June. The extension is helpful to make sure local and State agencies have ample time to
compile the information for the Action Plan.
We do not want the deadline pushed out too far though because we still want the process moving
forward to bring CDBG-DR funding to our communities. We will continue to provide necessary data
to the State and advocate for the needs in our communities.
