Now, we are reestablishing these emails on a weekly basis. Also, as your Board Meetings include fewer regular items, you are not hearing regular updates on Camp Fire recovery. I will begin sending you an email the day before each Board Meeting if there are recovery updates to provide you. Here are a few of the key ways in which COVID-19 is impacting Camp Fire recovery activities. The Hazard Tree Removal Program is moving forward. The processing center is operating and while we aren’t accepting forms in person, we are still receiving forms by mail and email. We also continue to make calls to property owners who need to enroll in a program. Enrollments are slow and steady. There is not update from the State beyond what Laura Page provided you a couple weeks ago. Building activity continues. The Building Division say a short slow-down in permit submissions for a couple weeks in March, but the volume of permit submissions has returned and the Building Division is busy processing permit applications. The deadline for the State to complete the CDBG-DR Action Plan and submit it to HUD was extended 90 days. I hope you are well. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.
