Mr. Gray,
Upon review of your site plan for your permit B19-4366, the setbacks for your proposed structure do
not meet the setback requirements set forth for properties residing within the State Responsibility
Area (SRA).
1276.01 Setback for Structure Defensible Space
(a) All parcels 1 acre and larger shall provide a minimum 30 foot setback for buildings and
accessory buildings from all property lines and/or the center of the road.
(b) For parcels less than 1 acre, the local jurisdiction shall provide for the same practical effect.
Furthermore, you were notified by Butte County Department of Development Services the setbacks
for the proposed structure should be 12' to the rear and 10' to the side. CAL FIRE/Butte County Fire
Department will recognize these corrections as acceptable setbacks for your proposed structure.
Once a new site map is submitted with these corrections, your permit will be approved.
