Note: The elevation of the building slabs above the adjacent decks and earth is determined by the following requirement:
The weep screed shall be placed not less than 4 inches above the earth or 2 inches above paved areas and shall be of a
type that will allow trapped water to drain to the exterior of the building. Allow the weep screed to extend 1 inch below
the top of the slab resulting in a 3" minimum height above adjacent paved decks. Earth shall be excavated to allow for
the minimum 4" clearance above earth.

13. Indicate the Exterior covering on plans:
All exterior walls are to be stucco and that roof covering will be TPA.
14. Stucco walls to be installed per C.R.C. Section R703.7.2.
A. Plastering with cement plaster shall not be less than three coats where applied over metal lath or wire fabric lath
and not less than two coats where applied over masonry.
B. A minimum 0.019-inch (No. 26 galvanized sheet gage), corrosion-resistant weep screed or plastic weep screed,
with a minimum vertical attachment flange of 3 ½ inches shall be provided at or below the foundation plate line on
the exterior stud walls in accordance with ASTM C926. The weep screed shall be placed not less than 4 inches
above the earth or 2 inches above paved areas and shall be of a type that will allow trapped water to drain to the
exterior of the building. The weather-resistant barrier shall lap the attachment flange. The exterior lath shall cover
and terminate on the attachment flange of the weep screed. C.R.C. Section R703.7.2.1.
C. Where plaster is applied over wood–based sheathing, shall include a water-resistive vapor–permeable barrier with
a performance at least equivalent to two layers of grade D paper. C.R.C. Section R703.6.3
