HomeMy WebLinkAbout20-090WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte desires to begin proceedings to renew the Butte County
Tourism Business Improvement District (BCTBID);
WHEREAS, certain tourism business owners have requested that the Board of Supervisors (Board) of the County
of Butte (County) renew the BCTBID; and
WHEREAS, a portion of the territory proposed to be included in the BCTBID lies within the boundaries of the cities
of Chico, Oroville, Biggs and Gridley, and the Town of Paradise (the cities and town), as shown on the map attached hereto
as Exhibit A and incorporated herein by such attachment; and
WHEREAS, the area of the cities and town which lies within the boundaries of the renewed BCTBID will, in the
opinion of the Board, be benefited by the improvements and activities, and the purpose sought to be accomplished by
the work can best be accomplished be a single comprehensive scheme of work;

Consent ofthe City nfGridley, through their City Council, iahereby requested torenew the BCTB|[\and tVgrant
to the Board jurisdiction for all purposes in connection with creation, operation and future renewals of the
renewed BCTBID.
The Clerk ofthe Board ishereby directed totransmit acertified copy ofthis Resolution tothe City Clerk ofthe City
of Gridley.
