BY SECTION 7910, DIVISION 9 OF THE CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE
WHEREAS, Article XIII -B of the California Constitution provides that local governments must establish annual
appropriation limits pursuant to said Article; and
WHEREAS, Section, 7910, Division 9, of the Government Code, provides that the governing body of each local
jurisdiction shall, by resolution, establish its appropriations limit for the following year at a regularly scheduled meeting;
and
WHEREAS, the Auditor -Controller has calculated in: Butte County appropriations limit for fiscal year 2020-2021 to
be $202,748,903; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the IBu,tte County Board of Supervisors hereby establishes the
appropriations limit to be $202,748,903 for fiscal year 2020-2021; and
FURTHER, that said appropriation limit, and the determination thereof are in compliance with, Article XIII -B of the
California Constitution.
