HomeMy WebLinkAbout20-104RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING ROBERT POST FOR HIS SERVICE ON THE BUTTE COUNTY FISH AND GAME COMMISSION
WHEREAS, after over 25 years of service, Robert "Bob" Post announced his resignation as Committee Member,
District I from the Butte County Fish and Game Commission, effective June 30, 2020; and
WHEREAS, Bob Post is a Butte County native and avid hunter who previously managed Huntington's Sporting
Goods in Oroville for over 40 years, sharing his expertise and enjoyment of the great outdoors with others; and
WHEREAS, Bob Post has served countless hours on the Butte County Fish and Game Commission, to, help manage,
preserve, and protect the fish and, wildlife populations in the beautiful County of Butte for the public to enjoy; and
WHEREAS, Bob Post has diligently worked in the best interest of the County and its residents, earning the respect
of fellow Committee Members, the public, the Board of Supervisors, and many more; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby wishes to express to Bob
Post its sincere appreciation for his outstanding service to the residents of Butte County, and further wish him happiness
in his future endeavors and many more hunting trips with his Brittany dogs.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 25T' day of August, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Lucero, Ritter, Teeter, and Chair Lambert
