countylevel.Onlyone,SupervisorDebraLucero,complied.Shemetwithusandshe
provideduswithherinsightsandwisdom,whichwehavetriedtoincorporateintothisdraft
version.andsheaskedyoualltoparticipatewithareply.Weincorporatedherinputinthis
watereddownversion(comparedtowhatChicopassed)indeferencetoherwisdomandour
understandingthatButteCountyismoreconservativethanitslargestcity.Conservatives
usedtobelieveinconservationofoursharedpreciousnaturalworld,andwebelievethatis
trendingagain.Werepeatourasknow-whiletheBear/NorthComplexfirestormsstillfill
ourairwithdangerousunhealthylevelsofsmokeandparticulatematterforweeksonend.

We welcome new Supervisor, Tod Kimmelshue, and were happy to hear him proclaim at
the Butte County League of Women Voters Candidate Forum that he believes in Climate
Science. His support and ability to persuade others on the board could be the game
changer we've been seeking.
I have a free Zoom account for 40 minute maximum meetings. We know we have nothing
better to do than to work on this DCE project with you at your earliest convenience.
