New Metric
Health Equity Metric will become applicable on 10/13/20
o
The State ran our equity metric as an example so we could see how it would affect our
tier if it remains the same when it becomes effective. It did not change what tier we are
currently in.

Public Health staff are participating in a call later on Monday to learn more about how
they determine what this metric # is
Schools
Elementary School waivers are being processed and granted as they meet requirements. To date
we have six approved, with two more in the que waiting for CDPH response. One of the eight is
a public school.
All schools are not eligible to re-open for in person instruction until/unless Butte County
remains in the red tier for 2 weeks. If we remain in red, the first day they would be able to open
will be 10/13/2020.
