Countybusinesses,citizens,children,andourcommunityat-large,areatriskoflosing everything.Itistimetoreopen.Everydayweareaskedtomanageandmeasurerisk;you cannotlivewithoutsomelevelofrisk,butatthispointcatastrophicfailureseemsmostlikely basedonthestateofoureconomyinthecurrentshutdown.Wecanchangethat! Notonlyisittherightthingtodo,itisyourobligationunderGovernmentCodeSection8630, subdivision(d)toterminatetheemergencyattheearliestpossibledatethatconditions warrant.Ourhospitalsarenotoverwhelmed.Ourresourcesarenotinshortsupply. Conditionswarrantterminationoftheemergency. Ontheotherhand,suicideratesareskyrocketing,businessesarefailing,childrenarefalling furtherandfurtherbehindintheireducationandourcommunityissufferingandmustdo better.
