Board – FYI.
Due to the fire in Oroville right now – power has been shut down in a large portion of Oroville
(impacting most County offices). With this – we are sending employees home for the remainder of
the day.
Stay tuned for an update on the fire in the near future.

Subject: Oroville Fire
Department Heads/Assistant Department Heads - There is a fire in Oroville at this time which has
resulted in power being turned off by PG&E. Any departments who are without power at this time,
per section 9.7 of the Personnel Rules, please release your employees for the remainder of their
shift today (they can certainly do work remotely if possible).
