However I was nervous and did not really do a very good job of prioritizing what I need to say. primarily I would like to ask if you will put the chapter 53 camping ordinance on the agenda for a future meeting as that we have many residents that have comments about that. The lack of enforcement is currently is negatively impacting our economics, our environmental, our growth, property values and our safety. Some of the issues are addressed in the ordinance but are not being enforced. 1-Our community would like to see campers being vetted that they are truly campfire survivors -that is what was the intention of the ordinance. 2- we would like to see it limited to property owners because the true intention was for people that are rebuilding. 3- A suggestion would be to follow what paradise town has decided to do as far as the camping ordinance. 4- enforcement should not be limited to complaint only there should be some check system that folks have done the proper due diligence to camp and rebuild. 5- extensions should be offered to those that can prove they are rebuilding. 6- camping permits and fees should be reduced or use recovery funds to help people pay these 7-all campers should be hooked to utilities 8-recovery funds could be used to help displaced people find somewhere to move to. that is a brief summary of what I should’ve said in my comment. Please consider placing this on the agenda so that the community up here can’t have a say and input to bring us back to a viable and thriving community. thank you Susan Copeland 13801 Skyway Magalia Sent from my iPhone
