Media Statement:
State to Delay COVID Tier Updates
The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) notified Butte County Public Health that
the weekly COVID-19 tier status update will be postponed by one day due to the 2020
Election. CDPH will update the Blueprint for a Safer Economy website on Wednesday,

November 3 with each counties tier assignment based on current case rates and test
positivity rates.
