October 30, 2020 marks the deadline to enroll in the Private Hazard Tree Removal Program which began accepting enrollment applications in late 2019. December 4, 2020 is the Private Program “cut-by” date. By this date, property owners must cut their Hazardous Trees and remove them from their property. To enroll in the Government Program, visit buttecountyrecovers.org and download the Right of Entry Permit form to have the State remove trees at no out-of-pocket expense.
