Good morning Board –
Quick update from the EOC this morning.
Fire Activity
Fire is now at 78% containment.
Areas are holding well
F ire teams will be monitoring the northern sections VERY closely especially over this
weekend with the expected winds.
Wind event – still slated to come in Saturday night now with 30 – 50 MPH gusts in the
drainage areas…15-20 MPH in other areas.
Other concerns are just new starts that could pop up in this wind event.
If things hold this weekend – Team 4 will transition out Tuesday morning.
Damage assessment teams are around 90% done.
Care/Shelter
LAC – 995 households have come through.
Individuals sheltered in hotels: 648, 313 rooms.
Animal Control numbers - 438 total animals.
Many calls coming into the shelter hotline 1,315 to date (having to do with shelter questions
and questions on the LAC).

Prepping necessary signals for the PSPS event Saturday night.
PG&E – PSPS Update
Again - expecting high winds this weekend – with a PSPS event tentatively slated to start
early Sunday morning (between 12:00am and 4:00am)…with re-energization starting back
Monday).
18,009 potential customers in Butte County impacted (at this point – obviously subject to
change up until de-energization starts).
5 CRC’s will be set up in Butte – providing snacks, water, charging, washing stations:

Medical baseline customers (64 in Oroville, 223 in Paradise, 1482 in in the unincorporated
areas) have been notified by PG&E. Those on our SNAP list have been contacted.
EOC Updates
In operational period 10. This is a 7 day plan that runs through Monday.
Most of the EOC is working virtual today…with all staff available in case the winds trigger any
new activity tomorrow.
Working on moving the EOC to Oroville hopefully Monday (after this weekend’s wind event).
