Miranda FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE September 28, 2020 CONTACT Jennifer Macarthy Deputy Administrative Officer, Economic and Community Development 530.552.3338 BUTTE COUNTY TO PROVIDE $4.9 MILLION IN GRANT FUNDS TO LOCAL SMALL BUSINESSES BUTTE COUNTY, CALIF.-- There is one week remaining to apply for grant funds to support small business within Butte County that have been impacted by COVID-19. The application period for the Butte Business Stabilization Program opened September 15, 2020, and will close on October 5, 2020. This program provides eligible businesses with five or fewer employees up to $15,000 in grant funds, and eligible businesses with six to ten employees up to $25,000 in grant funds. With $4,900,000 allocated, the Butte Business Stabilization Program will support approximately 250 small, local business. Businesses may apply online at www.buttebusinessresourcehub.org .
