FIRE UPDATE: No update from the USFS today. PG&E PG&E – about 6:00pm yesterday – approximately 10,550 customers in Butte County are impacted (the eastern flank of the County). Winds are supposed to ramp back up again today/Thursday and into the evening tonight. They hope to start patrolling lines Friday morning …with power anticipated to be fully restored by Friday night. 5 Customer Resource Centers are in line to be opened up – same locations as previously utilized: Bangor Community Center 7500 Oro Bangor Highway Bangor, 95914 American Veterans Store 15474 Forest Ranch Way Forest Ranch, Butte, 95942 Magalia Pines Baptist Church 14098 Skyway Rd Magalia, 95954 Southside Oroville Community Center 2959 Lower Wyandotte Rd Oroville, 95966 Craig Memorial Congregational Church 5665 Scottwood Rd Paradise, 95969 The CRCs will provide: snacks, waters, ADA restrooms, charging stations, Wi-Fi services. They will be open from 8:00am to 10:00pm today/Thursday and tomorrow/Friday (unless power is restored sooner). CARE AND SHELTER: Working with CalOES and FEMA to extend the end date to get survivors out of non- congregate sheltering. o We have 30 days from the closure of the incident (which has been noted as 9/26 – even though we were still actively fighting the fire at this time). This would mean sheltering is approved through 10/26. We are working on getting an extension with OES…and feel optimistic this won’t be an issue. There are 171 animals still being sheltered. o Reunification efforts continue. Animals that go unclaimed will be spade, neutered and put up for adoption. o 10/23 is the slated closure date of animal shelter. There are 225 individuals housed in 118 hotel/rooms throughout N. Cal. Work continues to get them to a longer term solution. Calls – over 3,802 calls received thus far. Calls continue to be around 120-140/day. Misc. Items: Logistics has processed 1,371 resource requests to date. Will be pushing out a press release today on a new Butte County Recovers website – which will have information on recovery efforts for both the Camp Fire and the North Complex Fire. We continue to work in a 2 week operational period which began last Friday evening – running through 8:00pm Friday 10/23. We continue to need EOC support for Care and Shelter. We will have briefings two days/week (on Tuesday and Thursday). If there are any questions – please don’t hesitate to reach out.
