Good morning all –
We had our final EOC briefing this morning for the North Complex Fire. Below are the highlights:
PG&E PSPS update – all patrols done…all power restored as of last night. There is an
unrelated outage in the Forrest Ranch area…estimated restoration this afternoon.
Care/Shelter – 266 survivors still sheltered, 150 rooms…all in Butte County. Extension has
th
been granted to 11/24 (pending meeting eligibility requirements). Hotline still going…
working on getting EH staff on board to staff it.
Animals – down to zero animals as of last Thursday afternoon. As of Friday, 10/23, all
shelters were closed. Wrapping up loose ends!
Logs – working on loose ends…will start the reconciliation processes.
OES – will be demobilizing with the EOC closing down.
Want to take this time to thank all County staff who, along with their “day jobs”, have been working
countless hours in support of this incident. Also – I want to thank the team from OES who have
basically been living up here in our EOC for 7 weeks now. While there is a long road ahead for the
recovery work – it’s nice to be able close this chapter and move forward.
